"Learning to play ....... playing to learn....."

Little Acorns Nursery Schools are purpose built and are warm, welcoming and secure settings, the entrance being via an electric gate. We aim to provide the highest quality child care within a happy and stimulating learning environment, for children aged three months to five years.

All fees include: nappies and wipes, a breakfast for children over 12 months who are booked to attend nursery before 08:15, a nursery tea for children over 12 months who are booked to attend nursery after 16:00, a mid morning and mid afternoon snack.

Both nurseries have seperate areas for babies, toddlers and preschool children and are fully equipped to meet the childrens needs.

The children are given opportunities to enhance their learning in the large outside environment e.g. helping with the vegetable garden, digging in the digging area, planting, looking at wildlife, looking for minibeasts, riding on bicycles and scooters etc.
Qualified and experienced staff help the children to achieve their maximum potential through personalised learning, development and care.

Each child is assigned a keyperson who ensures that his/her individual needs are met with a variety of both spontaeneous play and planned experiences.
Parents are also encouraged to work in partnership with the nursery to support their child's learning and development.

Both nurseries are registered with Ofsted, with Waterlooville offering places for 88 children and Drayton offering places for 48 children.

We accept all the government childcare vouchers and Early Years Education Grant of up to 15 hours free childcare per week when children are eligible.
